Peaky Blinders has been away from our screens for three years, having premiered its fifth series back in 2019. But the wait is almost over as Tommy Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) is going to be arriving once again on BBC One. Here’s everything we know so far about Peaky Blinders’ last season.
When is the release date for Peaky Blinders season 6?
So far, a release date has not yet been announced for Peaky Blinders season six.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, filming for the final series has been massively delayed.
However, creator Steven Knight has already stated the drama will be back sometime in early 2022 so there shouldn’t be too much longer to wait.
Express.co.uk will update this article once more details have come out.
Who is in the cast of Peaky Blinders season 6?
Leading the way for the last time, of course, will be Irish actor Cillian Murphy as the iconic Tommy Shelby.
Besides Peaky Blinders, Murphy has been in Dunkirk, The Dark Knight Rises and A Quiet Place Part II.
He will once again be joined by the likes of Venom actor Tom Hardy as Alfie Solomons, The Queen’s Gambit star Anya Taylor-Joy and Gentleman Jack actress Sophie Rundle.
Fans can also look forward to seeing some new faces in the streets of Birmingham.
This is England and Boardwalk Empire star Stephen Graham is going to be joining the cast for season six.
There has been some speculation that he will play American gangster Al Capone but the creators have so far stayed quiet on his character.
He will be joined by actress Amber Anderson who has been in Emma, Your Highness and White Lie.
Anderson is going to play Emma, a female adversary to Tommy but how will he react to his latest rival?
