Pregnant Lucy Mecklenburgh praying waters dont break as she surprises Ryan on The Games

Lucy Mecklenburgh sweetly surprised her fiancé Ryan Thomas on Thursday's episode of ITV's The Games.

Taking to Instagram, the former TOWIE star, 30, joked that she was "praying her waters don't break" during the show and explained that she hadn't seen Ryan, 37, since Sunday due to the gruelling schedule.

Posting a picture inside the Velodrome during the live track cycling races, Lucy, who is expecting her second child with Ryan, penned: "I decided to surprise @ryanthomas84 tonight" with a heart emoji.

In a different snap, Lucy shared a radiant loved-up selfie with Ryan as she displayed her growing baby bump in a black dress and white denim jacket.

She penned: "Good luck baby @ryanthomas84 @thegamestv I've not seen Ryan since Sunday. Me & Roman have missed him so much," with a blue heart emoji.

Lucy added: "Praying my waters don’t break mid show hahahaha" followed with laughing emojis.

It comes after Ryan revealed on Good Morning Britain that his pregnant wife-to-be Lucy is due "any day".

The former Coronation Street actor appeared on the ITV morning show alongside his brother Adam to talk about their podcast and his appearance on ITV's The Games.

However, the former Neighbours actor admitted his main worry was not the fitness challenge, but that his fiancé Lucy is about to give birth at any moment.

Ryan said: “Well the problem we’ve got is my wife-to-be is due anytime so I’m hoping it doesn’t come between the show."

Lucy and Ryan are expecting their second child together and the former The Only Way is Essex star took a moment to show her 1.7 million followers their daughter’s nursery recently.

The 30-year-old showed off her new home renovations and the cute furniture in her daughter-to-be’s room with gold coat hangers on a mini rail, before she showed Ryan building the furniture.

In her Instagram stories, she showed the actor surrounded by flat pack furniture as she penned: “@ryanthomas84 hates me! I thought they came built.”
