Rebab to Mrs Browns Boys – what Corrie’s Curly star Kevin Kennedy did after soap
Coronation Street actor Kevin Kennedy played loveable Curly Watts on the soap for a whopping two decades.
Iconic character Curly won over legions of fans on the ITV programme, with the character joining the cobbles back in 1983.
With his trademark glasses and bowl cut, Curly was the character who didn't have the best luck with anything he tried his hand at.
Most of his storylines dealt with his repeated failure to form a successful romantic relationship, although he did manage to marry Emma Taylor.
His nickname was given to him because he had straight, lank hair and getting into rows over money, mainly in his storylines in 1996.
