Simon Cowell wowed fans earlier this year after showing off his trim new figure.
The X Factor: Celebrity mogul was notably slimmer as he filmed both America's Got Talent and Britain's Got Talent: The Champions.
Despite whispers the multi-millionaire turned to his surgeon for help slimming down, the SYCO boss insists it was simply due to hard work.
Chatting about how he overhauled his image and health, Simon, 60, explained: "People have said 'Oh, he’s had a gastric band fitted' – but I haven’t.

"If I had, I would admit to it. This diet is all about what you put into your body."
Nicole Scherzinger's co-star continued: "I met this doctor in LA and he told me my diet was appalling and I had to cut out fatty foods and certain drinks.
"I could see the difference. Cutting out sugar made a massive difference.

"The first few weeks were difficult, but then I actually stopped craving sugar.
"I had also found a brilliant gluten-free beer, which helps.
"The hardest part is when I see Eric eat pizza in front of me. That’s really tough."
Meanwhile, Sinitta, who makes a blink and you'll miss her in Saturday's episode of X Factor, claims she was the one who motivated Simon to ditch the junk food.
The So Macho singer said: "We had just finished filming X Factor – the last year with Ryan Seacrest, Paula Abdul and Dianne Warren – everybody was there.
"As we were leaving, I was kissing him goodbye and saying thank you, and as I said goodbye I whispered in his ear: 'Babe, I'm really sorry to say this but I love you so much, and I've got to do this.
"You're too handsome, you're too fabulous, to let yourself go like this.'"
She continued: "I kind of put my arms around him – I had my arms around him because we were hugging – but I just kind of grabbed him a little bit around the love handles of his waist, and his little cheeks.
"I just said 'I want you to be healthy, I want you to look good, I want you to feel good.
"This is not you and I think we need to address this."
