Spoilers: Devastating bulimia storyline revealed for Summer in Corrie
Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) is developing an eating disorder in Coronation Street and made herself sick in tonight’s episode.
Last night, after Max (Paddy Bever) accused Daniel (Rob Mallard) of abusing his position, Summer discovered her teacher wasn’t allowed to be near or speak to her.
Her emotions all over the place, Summer was stressing about her outfit for her Oxford interview tonight.
Telling Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) her dress made her look like a ‘tablecloth’, Summer scrolled Daisy’s (Charlotte Jordan) Instagram again, desperate for someone to ‘airbrush’ her so she could look like Daniel’s girlfriend.
Billy tried to help, offering Summer lunch at the bistro to try and make her feel better.
Sitting down with Paul and Billy, Summer ordered a burger and enjoyed it temporarily.
Feeling a pang of guilt, Summer grabbed her stuff and made her way home, telling Billy and Paul she had forgotten her insulin.
Alone in the flat, Summer entered the bathroom and made herself sick.
Shortly after, Billy returned, and Summer painted on a smile.
With Billy so focused on supporting Summer with her Oxford interview, will he notice what’s going on?
How bad will things get for Summer?
