Spoilers: Vinny seeks help in the aftermath of deadly EastEnders attack

Vinny Panesar (Shiv Jalota) panicked and lashed out in EastEnders during a botched robbery, and left Martin Fowler (James Bye) in a very bad way.

The BBC One soap returned to screens on Monday (September 7), and it came to light that Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) was having financial difficulties.

In spite of her having called the bank, she was unable to stop her money from being drained.

And problems went from bad to worse in Thursday’s instalment (September 10), as her car was taken away.

Determnied to get a handle on things, she agreed to Vinny’s suggestion about pulling an insurance job, and therefore left the club empty for him to carry out the crime.

However, Martin saw the hooded figure heading off with a bag full of what he presumed to be cash, and he gave chase.

Vinny entered the minute Mart via the backdoor and Martin followed suit, but failed to locate the young man once inside.

However, Vinny appeared behind him with a fire extinguisher, and hit him over the back of the head.

Following the collision, Martin fell to the floor and became unconscious — leaving Vinny fearing the worst.

In tonight’s episode (September 11), Vinny panics once more, and therefore calls Jags (Amar Adatia) for help.

However, Suki (Balvinder Sopal) arrives — much to Vinny’s dismay — and orders him to leave.

Will she be able to sort things?

EastEnders continues Friday September 11 at 8:30pm on BBC One.
