Strictly fans predict BBC pushing Tilly Ramsay to final to poach chef dad Gordon
Strictly Come Dancing fans are convinced bosses are rigging the competition to afford Tilly Ramsay a place in the final, so they can try to poach her famous father.
Tilly's dad and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay currently has business with ITV, but according to reports, the BBC want to try and nab him for themselves.
Fans of the show believe Strictly bosses have a hidden agenda to push their favourites into the final, The Mail on Sunday revealed.
Some of the stars also claim producers are desperate for Strictly’s first-ever all-male couple, John Whaite and Johannes Radebe, to make it to the final as well.
TV presenter AJ Odudu, who is paired with the show’s new professional dancer, Kai Widdrington, is another favourite with Strictly's top table.
One source told the publication: "There’s a feeling that there’s some blatant favouritism going on here – that they are pushing Tilly to win, or at least get to the final, because they want to nick her dad.
"Then you have the issue of the all-male couple, which is just the dream of certain people involved with the show for John and Johannes to pick up the glitterball. And as for AJ, she is adored."
This comes after former Strictly star Saffron Barker revealed she is backing Tilly to win this year’s dance competition, saying she is "rooting for her".
The 21-year-old took part in the hit BBC One dance competition back in 2019 and helped pave the way for social media influencer's to slowly be integrated into TV stardom alongside her professional dancer AJ Pritchard.
As the avid Strictly fan has been loyally following the latest series of the popular dance competition, the blonde bombshell confessed that out of the entire star-studded line-up, there is one particular contestant who has her vote.
In an exclusive interview with the Daily Star, she revealed: "I'm really rooting for Tilly [Ramsay].
"I really want her to do amazing because I was the exact same age as her and a young girl, the youngest on the show. I'd only just turned 19 as well so I was the same age as her."
Daily Star has contacted the BBC for comment.
