Towie's Chloe Sims and Pete Wicks arrive at filming for awkward showdown after revealing secret two year fling

TOWIE'S Chloe Sims and Pete Wicks were today spotted arriving to film the ITVBe reality show following their awkward showdown.

The pair shocked viewers on Sunday when they revealed they'd had a secret two year fling.

Towie fans discovered the BFF's have been enjoying an on-off sexual relationship since 2018.

But, today they put any awkwardness aside to film the hit show.

Arriving separately, Chloe, 37, looked incredible in a burgundy silk dress.

She completed her look with a black leather jacket and matching ankle boots.

Pete, 31, meanwhile cut a causal figure in a blue denim shirt and black skinny jeans.

He was seen arriving with his trademark locks blowing in the wind behind him.

Chloe and Pete's intense friendship has been the subject of romance rumours for the last few years.

The couple finally confirmed their secret love affair on the last episode of the show, sending social media into a frenzy.

Fans saw Chloe and Pete try to save their friendship during a couples' counselling session with Celebs Go Dating expert Anna Williamson.

Yesterday Chloe exclusively talked to The Sun about their under-cover romance and revealed how she put her heart on the line for Pete but got nothing back.

Fans' hopes for a happy ending have been dashed by Chloe, who has previously dated Mario Falcone, Elliot Wright and Dan Edgar on the show.

She said: "We are just so different we constantly end up fighting or falling out.

"Pete needs his own time to think about things. I won't think before I speak.

"I wear my heart on my sleeve and say exactly how I'm feeling at that moment.

The Towie favourite continued: "Pete finds it hard to express his emotions. He holds a lot in.

"I am independent and like my own space but deep down I would happily be with that one special person a lot.

"Pete isn't like that either. He needs a lot of his own time.

"He will do his best but he likes his own space and wants long periods of time completely on his own."

The veteran reality star added: "If I love someone and they are in my life and I feel safe with someone I can be quite needy because I don't find that often.

"I know I can be a lot if I love someone. If I love them, I love them through and through, from head to toe, there are no ifs or buts or in-between.

"Maybe I smothered him. I will put my heart out there but Pete's not like that.

"He doesn't like talking about his feelings. It is like getting blood out of a stone."

Today Chloe also hit out at the haters by posting a picture of herself with the caption: "I'd rather be disliked for who I am than liked for who I am not."

  • Tune into Towie tomorrow night on ITVBe at 9pm.
