TOWIEs Chloe Sims says many stars were cut because they werent open enough
The Only Way Is Essex had a drastic cull of stars ahead of the next series, and Chloe Sims says it's because they weren't "raw" or "open" enough about their lives.
However, she went on to say that she'll be keeping any new updates on her love life private this time around.
Stars including Courtney Green, Chloe Meadows, Clelia Theodorou, Harry Derbidge, Tom McDonnell, Harry Lee and Kelsey Stratford were all given the boot from the show earlier this year.
Speaking to The Sun, Chloe, 39, revealed her thinking about why they were let go: "I think it’s how open you are and need to be."
She insisted that it's nothing to do with those who were kept being "legends", and added: "I think it's how much you’re willing to share; how raw you're willing to be.
"A lot of the cast who have left had private relationships off TOWIE and that doesn't really work because you have to share everything. I’ve been an open book and shared the ups and all the downs – and there’s been a lot of them."
Chloe said she was never nervous about the possibility of being let go: "I knew I was coming back. I’m Chloe Sims. You’re joking."
Despite criticising other stars for not sharing their relationships, Chloe said she will be holding back in future too.
Previously she shared everything about her rocky relationship with Pete Wicks, and said she learned a lot of lessons.
In future series of the show, the star said she will only feature a loved one "if it was really serious", as she feels like she's rushed in the past and it's caused everything to go wrong.
Fans are excited to see the new series, even without some of the old cast, and they are filming in Sandbanks now.
