Who is India Brown?

INDIA Brown will be making an appearance on-screen over the 2021 festive period.

Despite being a young actress, she already has a large catalogue of roles underneath her belt.

How did India get famous? 

India was born and raised in London but her age has yet to have been revealed.

Her career started in 2014 when she starred as an extra titled "little girl" in the revived series of TV show Birds Of A Feather.

She carried on with a number of small roles until she got her big breakthrough in Silent Witness, starring as Lysette across the two-part episode titled Lift Up Your Hearts.

When did she land the role in Worzel Gummidge?

India has been starring as Susan in the BBC One TV show Worzel Gummidge since 2019.

The titular character of Worzel Gummidge is played by Mackenzie Crook, famous for being Gareth in the UK version of The Office and as Ragetti in the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise.

She made her first appearance in the episode The Scarecrow Of Scatterbrook, which was shown on Boxing Day 2019.

India has since reprised her role for a second season and will be returning to our screens on December 28, 2021.

What TV and movies has she starred in? 

India's two biggest roles have both come in TV shows.

She joined the cast of the CBBC show Hetty Feather, based on the book written by Jacqueline Wilson, from its fourth season to its conclusion in 2020.

She played Lizzie, a scullery maid at Calendar Hall who befriends Hetty.

India has also had a starring role in the science fiction Apple TV+ show Invasion.

Her character is Jamila Huston, a young girl who is friends with Casper.

The show has already been renewed for a second season but there has been no confirmation if India will be reprising her role.

Other roles India has been in include Ella Hoy in the Netflix mini-series The Stranger and Amber in David Williams' TV movie, The Midnight Gang.
