Kodak Black was arrested after Oxycodone pills and almost $75,000 in cash were found in his car.

The Florida Highway Patrol trooper conducted a traffic stop after Kodak Black's vehicle seemed to have windows tinted darker than the legla limit and also smelt marijuana coming from his car.

They also found out from the stop that the vehicle's registration and Black's licence were expired too.

The rapper was arrested and taken to Broward County Jail.

Fans are expecting him to play E11EVEN as part of Miami's Rolling Loud Weekend on July 22.

It later on became his stage name when he rose to fame in 2014 with the release of his single "No Flockin."

Has Kodak Black been arrested before?

On New Year's Day 2022, Kodak Black was arrested for trespassing, just less than a year after he was pardoned by ex-US president Donald Trump.

His lawyer, Bradford Cohen, confirmed to TMZ that Black was arrested on a misdemeanour trespassing charge – but insisted it was based on a cease-or-desist letter from four months ago.

Cohen claims that Black went to his old neighborhood to see some friends and to pay off credit card debt for five families in the area.

In June 2020, he was arrested and sentenced to 48 months in prison after he was pressed with federal weapons charges in 2019.

Instead of spending till November 2022 in prison, Trump pardoned him in an official White House statement which acknowledged the support he has received from fellow rappers including Gucci Mane, Lil Pump and Lil Yachty.
