Vic Mensa is giving back to his Chicago Community since gas prices are getting tougher.

American Rapper Vic Mensa’s giving the people what they need and what they want. Helping folks in Chicago deal with the high price of gas and also get a little high.

Ever the savvy businessman, the Chi-town rapper put lot of smiles on faces when he recently donated $10,000 to pump petrol into 200 cars! The giveaway went down at a BP station in Vic’s old Southside neighborhood over Labor Day weekend, and couldn’t have been better timed.

One woman was extremely thankful for Mensa’s generosity, describing how she only had $5 and didn’t know how she was going to get gas to take her granddaughter to work. “I don’t know how I’ma get no gas to take you to work. We have $5 on the car then you all came. Ain’t nothing but God and blessings. I just want to say thank you, that’s all, okay,” she said amid tears. Mensa responded, “God bless you. We appreciate you. 93 Boyz got you.”

Check out how emotional one woman got explaining she’d shown up at the gas station with only $5 to her name not knowing if it would be enough to get her granddaughter to work that day.

According to TMZ, Heart of gold type stuff there — but as we said, Vic’s no dummy when it comes to handling his biz. He recently launched Chicago’s first Black-owned cannabis company — 93 Boyz — so, while folks were lined up for the pump, he did some promotion too, passing out pre-roll joints.

RELATED: DJ Akademiks Wanted To Sign ‘Fivio Foreign’ First Before The $1.5 Million Deal Of The Rapper Ma$e’s

According to TMZ, “he feels good doing service for his community … especially because gas prices have been a big pain in the ass for many struggling Americans.”

As for the high-end of his business — well, cannabis has been legal in Illinois since January 2020 and Vic says part of the 93 Boyz brand’s mission will always be performing acts of charity for inner city minorities.

93 Boyz is Chicago’s first Black-owned cannabis brand and the first to pair top-shelf genetics with a core mission focused on giving back to the community.

The brand was founded by Chicago-born musician and activist Vic Mensa with a vision of lifting up the neighborhoods around him while lifting spirits across the state. That vision- paired with the heaviest, headiest gas available anywhere- is what fuels 93 Boyz today.

Vic wants to give those from criminally affected inner cities, such as Chicago, a chance to create wealth from weed … in an effort to help bridge the wealth gap in the country.

Ask folks in his neighborhood — they’d say he’s off to a good start!

READ NEXT: Fe Noel Flaunt A $1.6 Million Money Dress At NYFW

Sources: TMZ, Complex, 93 Boyz
