Kate Middleton waves at royal fans as she slips in the side door to watch England in the Rugby World Cup<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A video has been shared on Instagram of Kate Middleton\u00a0meeting the England Rugby team &#8211; and joking with George Ford, asking whether he has been practising drop goals.<\/p>\n<p>The Princess of Wales, 41, was part of the 60,000-strong crowd as she watched the match at the Stade de Marseille, France, on Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>England beat Argentina 27-10, despite being a man down after\u00a0Tom Curry was shown a red card in the fourth minute, with George Ford scoring all 27 of the points.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>And after the match, Kate, who is patron of the Rugby Football Union, met some of the players.<\/p>\n<p>A clip of the meeting was shared by England Rugby on Instagram, where it quickly garnered in excess of 15,000 likes within an hour.<\/p>\n<p>A post shared by England Rugby (@englandrugby)<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/10\/16\/75267671-12501659-image-a-18_1694359111390.jpg\" height=\"474\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Kate Middleton (pictured, left) watched England beat Argentina yesterday, before meeting players, including George Ford (pictured, right)\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In the short video, the royal is seen asking George Ford: &#8216;Have you been practicing your drop goals?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The player laughs, as another teammate says &#8216;he&#8217;s a natural&#8217;, and Kate says &#8216;amazing&#8217;, presumably in response to the player&#8217;s performance.<\/p>\n<p>After showing the footage of Kate, Princess of Wales asking about drop goals, the clip cuts to footage of the star practising the move over and over again.<\/p>\n<p>The video is simply caption: &#8216;Practise makes perfect.&#8217;\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Kate&#8217;s trip to Marseille to watch the match was a solo one, as she travelled without her husband Prince William of their three children.<\/p>\n<p>She made a quiet entrance, arriving at the side door of the stadium, rather than the front.<\/p>\n<p>Although alone for the visit, Kate was accompanied by the usual motorcade of black SUVs &#8211; and didn&#8217;t bother with tinted windows for the short ride.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, she still made sure she acknowledged her fans, and was filmed waving at those who had managed to notice her rather incognito arrival.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/10\/16\/75267673-12501659-image-a-19_1694359179225.jpg\" height=\"875\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Kate Middleton (pictured) donned her trusty white Alexander McQueen trouser suit for the rugby match between England and Argentina yesterday<\/p>\n<p>As well as making a low-key entrance, the royal opted to recycle and outfit for the engagement, donning\u00a0\u00a31,945 white Alexander McQueen blazer and matching trousers.<\/p>\n<p>The ensemble has become somewhat of a staple in her wardrobe, and she has been snapped wearing it on a number of occasions.<\/p>\n<p>They include an outing to the Commonwealth Games last Summer, as well as during her and Prince William&#8217;s Caribbean tour last March.<\/p>\n<p>She complemented her suit with\u00a0a dazzling jewellery set she first wore for Princess Charlotte&#8217;s christening in 2015 &#8211; including\u00a0<span>her pair of \u00a33,750 Mappin &amp; Webb &#8216;Empress&#8217; Diamond Carriage Earrings and matching \u00a32,000 Empress Mini White Gold &amp; Diamond Pendant Necklace.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While Kate attended yesterday&#8217;s match, in her role of patron of the Rugby Football Union, husband William, who is the patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, was set to attend Wales&#8217; opening match against\u00a0Fiji\u00a0in Bordeaux today.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/femail\/article-12501659\/Kate-Middleton-jokes-George-Ford-winning-performance-Englands-Rugby-World-Cup-victory-Argentina.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Read Full Article<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kate Middleton jokes with George Ford after his winning performance in England&#8217;s Rugby World Cup victory over Argentina Princess of Wales, 41, travelled to France to watch England&#8217;s match yesterday READ MORE: A quiet arrival!
