An inappropiate comment Ashton Kutcher made about Hilary Duff 20 years ago has resurfaced on social media, following his and Mila Kunis’ support for convicted rapist Danny Masterson.<\/p>\n
Hilary, now 35, was one of the many celebrities Ashton, 45, pranked during his days hosting Punk’d.<\/p>\n
At the time, she was 15 and portraying Lizzie Mcguire in the Disney Channel comedy series.<\/p>\n
Introducing her on the show, Ashton, who was 25, said: “Hilary Duff is in Lizzie McGuire, she also has an album out.<\/p>\n
“She\u2019s going to be in a movie called Cheaper by the Dozen \u2013 and she\u2019s one of the girls that we\u2019re all waiting for to turn 18. Along with the Olsen twins.\u201d<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n In the video, Ashton began by saying: “We are aware of the pain that has been caused by the character letters that we wrote on behalf of Danny Masterson.”<\/p>\n Mila continued: “We support all victims. We have done this historically through all our work and will continue to do so in the future.”<\/p>\n Explaining their reasoning behind their support, Ashton went on to say: “A couple of months ago Danny’s family reached out to us and they asked us to write character letters to represent the person that we knew for 25 years, so that the judge could take that into full consideration relative to the sentencing.”<\/p>\n Mila then explained that the letters of support weren’t intended to question the legitimacy of the court system or the validity of Danny’s ruling.<\/p>\n The actress added that she stands with “every single person who has ever been a victim of sexual assault, sexual abuse, or rape”.<\/p>\n On Thursday, Danny was sentenced to of 30 years to life in prison for raping two women.<\/p>\n A jury found Masterson guilty back in May for two attacks which happened at his home in LA 20 years ago.<\/p>\n Express.co.uk has contacted a representative for Ashton and Hilary for comment.<\/p>\n
