{"id":67670,"date":"2023-09-19T12:21:50","date_gmt":"2023-09-19T12:21:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celeband.com\/?p=67670"},"modified":"2023-09-19T12:21:50","modified_gmt":"2023-09-19T12:21:50","slug":"yellowstone-fans-demand-new-episodes-and-fume-as-cbs-airs-edited-repeats","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celeband.com\/tv-movies\/yellowstone-fans-demand-new-episodes-and-fume-as-cbs-airs-edited-repeats\/","title":{"rendered":"Yellowstone fans demand new episodes and fume as CBS airs edited repeats"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Watch the trailer for Yellowstone Season 5<\/h3>\n<p>Yellowstone has made a comeback of sorts but die-hard fans of Taylor Sheridan&#8217;s epic contemporary cowboy series were far from impressed.<\/p>\n<p>With the ongoing writers and actors&#8217; strikes strangling film and television productions in Hollywood, CBS has started broadcasting repeats of Yellowstone to plug the gap in its fall schedule.<\/p>\n<p>Yellowstone is filling the slots usually occupied by fresh content which would have been starting at this time but has been unable to due to the continued strike action with season five filming yet to resume.<\/p>\n<p>CBS started airing Yellowstone right from the beginning but the show, which is usually shown on the streaming platform Paramount Plus, is subject to new restrictions to make it suitable for network viewing.<\/p>\n<p>Yellowstone started right from season one, episode one titled Daybreak as the stage was set and the Dutton family introduced for the first time to new viewers.<\/p>\n<p>A number of existing fans tuning in to watch CBS&#8217; reruns were left unimpressed by the edited version of the show and took to social media to air their concerns.<\/p>\n<p> <strong> READ MORE <\/strong> <strong>Here&#8217;s everything we know so far about Matthew McConaughey&#8217;s Yellowstone show<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/20\/590x\/secondary\/Yellowstone-kevin-costner-4964844.jpg?r=1695027313239\"><\/p>\n<p>One user called @uneekg wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter: \u201cIf your new and watching #yellowstone, don&#8217;t watch.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey edited out too many funny scenes and kept all the legal drama. More info<\/p>\n<p>A fifth user called @cmadmax said: \u201cHow much will you cut out for network tv?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Over on Instagram donnajean3436 said: \u201cNobody is excited about watered down reruns. Negotiate a fair deal and bring back television before you lose all of your viewers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>There were also concerns about when the new episodes from Yellowstone season five, part two would be airing after viewers were left on tenterhooks by the show&#8217;s mid-season finale at the start of the year.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/20\/590x\/secondary\/john-Yellowstone-4964846.jpg?r=1695027313360\"><\/p>\n<p>Yellowstone fan @DeeLesco wrote on X: \u201cWhat is happening? I thought this was the continuance!!!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A second user called xoxo__colbie said on Instagram: \u201cWe forgot since it\u2019s been 10 months since the release of season 5 pt 1 [sic].\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While a third cristobalgarcia_huidobro posted: \u201cWhen is the next Yellowstone season coming?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another tarastark said: \u201cI&#8217;m about to forget it all. BRING BACK YELLOWSTONE.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a fourth pradanaadrian said: \u201cWee need season 5 part 2, don&#8217;t you forget it [sic].\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, others coming to the show fresh were impressed by Yellowstone with one viewer @0406jf writing: \u201cLOVE LOVE LOVE THIS SHOW. FINALLY SOMETHING TO WATCH.
