State pensioners who need to submit a claim can put in their application from this week.<\/p>\n<p> Most people receive the money automatically but there are some Brits who need to physically apply for it. The Winter Fuel Payment is worth up to \u00a3300, depending on circumstances. <\/p>\n<p>The government then tops this up with an extra \u00a3300 pensioner cost of living payment, meaning some households could get up to \u00a3600 this winter. Most people who receive the following benefits will get the Winter Fuel Payment automatically:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>State Pension<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Pension Credit<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Attendance Allowance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Personal Independence Payment (PIP)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Carers Allowance<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Disability Living Allowance (DLA)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Income Support<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Income-related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Income-based Jobseeker&apos;s Allowance (JSA)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Awards from the War Pensions Scheme<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Incapacity Benefit<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Industrial Death Benefit<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You should receive a letter in October or November telling you if you&apos;re eligible for a Winter Fuel Payment, unless you need to claim.
