A STAR from behind-the-scenes show Strictly: It Takes Two has landed a major new role, and fans will be excited to see her back on screen.<\/p>\n
Fleur East, who competed on Strictly Come Dancing herself in 2022, is known for co-hosting the spin off show It Takes Two with Janette Manrara.<\/p>\n
\n<\/p>\n
The stunning host won over the hearts of fans while giving them a backstage peek into the lives of the dancers on the programme.<\/p>\n
Now she will be ditching the stage for a classroom as the 35-year-old joins the cast on BBC drama Phoenix Rise in the role of an inspirational music teacher.<\/p>\n
The first two seasons of the show followed the lives of a group of six teens who were previously excluded from school as they try to get back into education.<\/p>\n
Miss Meesha will be there in seasons three and four to support the students as they try to navigate the difficulties of secondary school without landing themselves in trouble again.<\/p>\n
The pop star and presenter is 'thrilled' to join the series, and shared that she loved her character's personality and is looking forward to audiences meeting her.<\/p>\n Fleur said: "I\u2019m thrilled to be a part of Phoenix Rise.
