<\/p>\nEmmerdale's Ethan star Emile John says his 'DM's are packed' after joining the countryside soap in 2021 as he opened up on his love life during an exclusive chat with OK!<\/b>.<\/p>\n
Emile, who plays lawyer Ethan Anderson on the soap, attended the Inside Soap Awards on Monday, September 25, as he said: "I'm really excited to be here."<\/p>\n
As he spoke to our reporter Emile admitted that, whilst he's single, his DM's are packed, which he says he "loves to see".<\/p>\n
Speaking about the character that he has played on Emmerdale since 2021, Emile said: "Up until now he's [Ethan] been the kind of prim and proper character about his business as a lawyer.<\/p>\n

"But we're hopefully going to see him stray into another direction, and I think it's good drama because, obviously, he's a lawyer."<\/p>\n
Giving even more of a hint about what is to come for his character, Ethan spoke about "seeing a lawyer go rogue" so Emmerdale viewers can no doubt expect a gripping storyline. <\/p>\n
In his personal life, Emile admitted that he is getting a lot of attention since appearing on Emmerdale, saying: "More than I normally would."<\/p>\n

He also said: "It's really humbling when you know people come up to you and recognise you from the show, and they appreciate your work – it's nice."<\/p>\n
In July, Emile confirmed his return to the show after being noticeably absent on screen for weeks, leaving soap fans incredibly confused over his character Ethan's whereabouts.<\/p>\n
Taking to Instagram, Emile confirmed his return to the ITV soap, which no doubt left show viewers delighted.<\/p>\n
The actor posted a picture with his on-screen family, which included co-stars Rebecca Sarker, Flo Wilson and Kevin Mathurin.<\/p>\n
Emile captioned the picture with: "Annnnd we're back" with a filming clapperboard emoji.<\/span><\/p>\n The actor also offered an insight into his few weeks away, revealing he had enjoyed a getaway with friends and also posted a picture of a set of keys in a flat, appearing to show he has secured his own property.<\/p>\n It had been an explosive few weeks on Emmerdale for the Anderson family with the surprise arrival of Charles Anderson's mother, Claudette Anderson, shortly followed by his dad Victor Anderson.<\/p>\n However, soap watchers had been left confused during the scenes as Charles' son, Ethan, played by Emile, was absent during the gripping storylines.<\/p>\n Taking to Twitter over the past few weeks, fans have shared their confusion with one writing: "What has happened to Ethan? Is the Actor ok?
