It was like both of my arms were super tight.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Then my chest went tight as well. It wasn&#8217;t painful but I had this huge pressing fear, which is called in medicine &#8216;the impending fear of doom&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>Adding &#8216;It&#8217;s a fear like you know you&#8217;re going to die. I had that come down on me. I couldn&#8217;t lie down, couldn&#8217;t stand up, I was thrashing around the place.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The TikToker called an ambulance, which came and did an ECG, concluding that it wasn&#8217;t a heart attack but they wanted to take him to hospital for blood tests to make sure.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He told viewers &#8216;So I went to Leeds General Infirmary in the ambulance and I had a blood test immediately at A&amp;E.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I remember being just sat there by myself in a normal waiting room and someone comes running to me and says &#8216;Right, come here&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;They took me to a room and jabbed a thing into my stomach and that point I was like &#8216;Jesus Christ, why am I being injected in my stomach?&#8217;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i.dailymail.co.uk\/1s\/2023\/09\/26\/16\/75853531-12562447-image-a-66_1695741407788.jpg\" height=\"1127\" width=\"634\"><\/p>\n<p>Tom Birchy posted the clip last week and it has been already been seen by over 1.6million people<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;I get admitted to a ward and later that evening found out that I did have a heart attack, aged 22.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Reflecting on how he felt at the time, he added &#8216;It was scary, it was during Covid as well so the one week where I was in hospital recovering, no one was allowed to see me.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;People from Leeds Uni were putting stuff in their windows because my hospital bed was opposite the uni accommodation, some people were waving from the street outside.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>The video caused panic among some viewers, with one writing &#8216;I have the worst health anxiety when someone talks about a heart attack and I get all the symptoms.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Another said &#8216;Worth mentioning is this can be a panic attack too. Same symptoms, never had a PA in my life then had this 3 times.
