TV presenter Jamie Theakston\u2019s classic car, called Esme, has been discovered \u2018miles away from home\u2019 after being pinched.<\/p>\n
The former Top of the Pops presenter\u2019s wife, Sophie Theakston, revealed on Instagram the couple had a \u2018tearful reunion\u2019 with the vintage Triumph, which went missing over the weekend.<\/p>\n
She wrote: \u2018Oh my Goodness\u2026. Where do I start. \u2063 Firstly, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to Mark and his lovely wife who found Esme late last night and let us know where we could locate her. She was miles from home and had been driven into the ground. <\/p>\n
\u2018So after a tearful reunion, she promptly broke down on the M25, tired and emotional (she is very sensitive \ud83d\ude2d). But after a couple of hours on the hard shoulder in my pyjamas \ud83e\udd23 we were rescued and finally got her HOME!\u2063\u2019<\/p>\n
Sophie thanked her followers for helping with the search and remarked that after feeling a \u2018genuine disappointment in humanity\u2019 after the crime, there were \u2018tears of joy\u2019.<\/p>\n
She continued: \u2018And yesterday I was reminded what a great country this is and how many really kind and caring people there are in it. \u2063

\u2018Thank you to you ALL for your lovely supportive words and advice yesterday. She\u2019s back. She\u2019s safe. I know she\u2019s only a \u2018thing\u2019 but she\u2019s my very old and very beautiful thing and I love her. And the bad guys didn\u2019t win on this occasion\u2026..kindness did \ud83e\udef6\ud83c\udffb\u2063 Love to you all\u2026. \ud83d\ude18\u2063.\u2019<\/p>\n

Jamie, 52, also thanked his followers for assisting with the hunt and shared a picture of Mark and his wife next to Esme.<\/p>\n
He wrote on Instagram: \u2018This is Mark and his wife \u2013 he found our car last night in Surrey \u2013 he\u2019s a superhero \u2013 the next picture shows the car on the hard shoulder after the thieves drained the radiator and it\u2019s final journey home on a low loader. <\/p>\n
\u2018THANKS to everyone who helped bring her home. It\u2019s been a busy night \u2013 Now for a brief moments sleep before my breakfast show.\u2019<\/p>\n

The Heart Radio DJ, who presents a show on the station with Amanda Holden, shared two pictures of the convertible vintage Triumph, which was bright green, and is apparently popular with his two dogs, to alert his followers.<\/p>\n
Jamie captioned the post: \u2018To the p***k who stole our car last night \u2013 you picked the wrong one \u2013 it\u2019s completely unique and everyone is looking for it \u2013 spread the word.\u2019<\/p>\n

It is the second time in a year that the former Live & Kicking presenter has had his car stolen.<\/p>\n
Last October, Jamie said on his Heart FM breakfast radio show\u00a0according to the MailOnline: \u2018It was 2am when my doorbell rings and it\u2019s the police.<\/p>\n
\u2018They say \u2018Mr Theakston your car has been stolen. It\u2019s just appeared on a tracker and it\u2019s about an hour away.\u2019<\/p>\n
He added: \u2018I quickly realised that the woman had nicked the keys off the table in the hall-way.\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n
Let\u2019s hope it won\u2019t be third time\u2019s a charm for Jamie.<\/p>\n
