Following a series of intimate shows in Los Angeles and New York, Kevin Abstract has shared a new single called \u201cBlanket.\u201d The track ushers in a new phase of music from Abstract, who is best known as the frontman and founder of Brockhampton.<\/p>\n
Alongside their work as a group, most of Brockhampton\u2019s members simultaneously pursued their solo music careers. Abstract released his debut album American Boyfriend: A Suburban Love Story<\/em> in 2016. His sophomore record, Arizona Baby,<\/em> arrived three years later.<\/p>\n While the singer hasn\u2019t given word of a full-length LP just yet, \u201cBlanket\u201d demonstrates a marked development in his sound, darker in comparison to the indie pop style of his earlier work.<\/p>\n \u201cBlanket\u201d also came with an official music video co-directed by Cole Bat and Abstract himself.
