You could be eligible for free money in cost of living payments without realising. <\/p>\n

Families in one part of England could be entitled via the Household Support Fund (HSF) worth \u00a3842million. Councils have been given a share of the fund and are distributing to residents in need.<\/p>\n

It means what you're entitled to varies depending on where you live, but in most cases it's for those on low income or benefits.<\/p>\n

Now residents in Leeds who meet a set of criteria might be eligible for a \u00a3100 payment. But there is an important date to keep in mind.<\/p>\n

Who is eligible for the payment?<\/h3>\n

Your household must be a recipient of Council Tax Support by October 23, 2023, to claim the funding from Leeds City Council.<\/p>\n

Those with children or pensioners at home will receive \u00a3100, while adults without kids get \u00a375. If you're eligible the money will be paid automatically to you.<\/p>\n

The payments should be made by the end of November via a Post Office voucher.<\/p>\n

Council Tax Support reduces the amount you have to pay.<\/p>\n
