Big Brother once again went live for its second eviction on Friday, with housemates getting an insight into how the viewers really feel about them as they could hear the crowd cheer from outside the house.

One housemate who wasn't pleased with the reaction was Kerry Riches, who was booed by the live audience, while some even chanted for her to be eliminated while hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best made their eviction announcement to the housemates.

The NHS manager, who hails from Essex, had previously been up for eviction in the first week but had not been put forward during Friday’s live elimination.

Instead, fellow housemates Zak and Henry were left vulnerable as they faced the public vote, with Manchester-based model Zak losing out to Henry as he was sent home.

Zak received five nominations from Hallie, Kerry, Chanelle, Jenkin and Henry, while Henry received four nominations from Dylan, Olivia, Noky and Jenkin.

In Sunday’s episode, Kerry is heard saying she does not “really know what to do now” and she is feeling a "bit rubbish" after the reaction.

Heading to the diary room to offload her thoughts, she tells Big Brother: "They were chanting ‘Get Kerry Out’ and it sounded like there were about 50,000 people.

“It just felt a bit rubbish and you think, oh god, what’s my son going through? What’s my family going through?”

Adding that her distaste for Zak, who she was seen having a tiff with before his elimination, could have contributed to the public's dislike for her.

“I’m hoping it’s that,” Kerry said as she got tearful and also said: “It’s really tough.”

Kerry has already had a tumulteous ride in the house since entering the house two weeks ago for the rebooted show, and was forced to apologise to Big Brother last week for using offensive language.

The NHS worker was heard using the term gay in a negative way while talking to her fellow housemates, saying: "Well this is gay" while chatting to Glasgow-born Olivia and Welsh housemate Jenkin.

A spokesperson for Big Brother said: "Kerry was brought to the diary room to discuss her inappropriate use of language. Big Brother reminded Kerry of her respect and inclusion training prior to entering the House and the consequences of any further use of offensive language.

"Kerry understood and apologised for any offence caused."
