There are a lot of great bagmakers out there, but few possess the same cult following as Japanese label, Porter & Yoshida Co. Originally founded in 1935 by Kichizo Yoshida, the company regularly collaborates with prominent designers and heritage brands, such as JJJJound and Studio Ghibli, but largely finds its success from staying in its own lane, blending tradition with modernity, and exclusively crafting its products by artisans in Japan.

The brand’s latest series is inspired by the theme of movement. Released under its POTR sub-label, RIDE includes a Backpack, Messenger Bag, 2Way Tote, Waist Bag, Shoulder Bag, Roll Bag, Cylinder Bag, and a GPS Holder. Releasing in olive, silver, and navy, each piece comes manufactured in sturdy Cordura ballistic nylon fabric with an emphasis on the daily commute in mind — whether used while skating, biking, hiking or walking.
