Exciting: It comes after the start date for the new series has been confirmed as Sunday November 19

A teaser on Monday saw hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly working at a luxury jungle retreat, but ended with the launch date appearing on-screen for the very first time.

Ant, 47, and Dec, 48, then shared a video to their social media announcing the start date again, while hiding behind some leafy plants.

Dec said: ‘Hello everybody. We’re coming to you from a top secret jungle location with some exciting news.’

Ant cut in to say: ‘And that exciting news is, I’m A Celebrity is back!’

Dec asked: ‘When, when, when?’ to which Ant replied: ‘Sunday, the 19th of November at 9pm.’

Dec added: ‘So join us ITV1 and ITVX for the launch of the new series. See you then!’

The camera then cut to a shot of the duo climbing off a brick wall planted with trees as Dec said: ‘Right I think they bought that’ and Ant added: ‘Think we got away with that didn’t we? Perfect.’

Confirmation of the I’m A Celebrity start date comes as the jungle campmates began to land in Australia ahead of new series.

Frankie Dettori, 52, has been tipped to be heading in to the jungle to challenge himself in some terrifying challenges in the jungle after his retirement.

According to The Mirror , the jockey was spotted in Australia after landing in the country during the early hours of Monday morning.

Speaking on social media the day before, Frankie confirmed that he would be boarding a flight to Melbourne from California .

He said: ‘Hi everyone, I am here in California at the moment. I will get on the plane after racing, I’m coming to Melbourne for the Melbourne Cup.

Unfortunately, this year I’m suspended, so I can ride but I will support the Melbourne Cup carnival for the week, see some old friends riding and have a smashing time at the racing. Hopefully we see some good winners, so make sure you come and see us.’

The publication reports that Frankie will be doing ‘promotional work’ in Melbourne before heading over to Brisbane to ‘be holed up in isolation for a few days.’

A spokesperson for ITV previously told MailOnline: ‘Any names suggested for I’m A Celebrity are just speculation.’

Frankie has reportedly told his friends his greatest concern about starring in the upcoming series of I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here.

Getting ready: I’m A Celebrity’s first ‘contestant’, Frankie Dettori, 52, has touched down in Australia ahead of the series launch (pictured last week in the UK)

The jockey has been tipped to be heading straight to Australia to munch on some creepy crawlies and challenge himself in some terrifying challenges in the jungle after his retirement.

It has been reported that the sportsman is keen to star in the ITV show, but isn’t as worried about the bugs or trials as he is about his appearance.

Speaking to The Sun , a source revealed: ‘Frankie is excited for the jungle but is just worried about who will do his hair while he is there!’

Meanwhile, Nigel Farage , 59, has confirmed that he has been asked to join the smash hit ITV show and admitted he is ‘tempted’ by the offer.

Speaking on Monday’s GB News , the former politician admitted he has been considering the offer for the past 10 days and said he is still thinking about it.

Nigel, who has previously told how he has turned down requests since 2016, confessed it is an ‘unconventional’ thing for him to do.

‘I have an existing Australian visa so if I chose to go there on holiday I could without too much difficulty,’ he said.

‘I’ve thought about [the offer] hard, for the last ten days or so. It’s quite a big decision and quite an unconventional thing for me to do.

Politics: Former Health Secretary Matt Hancock was widely mocked when he appeared on I’m A Celeb last year

‘There is a big, young audience out there who don’t really have anyone that speaks to them, it seems to me, about current affairs and politics in Britain.

‘That’s what tempts me, but I haven’t signed a contract… yet.’

It comes after Nigel confirmed he is ‘in talks contractually’ to appear on the show and is ‘seriously’ considering it.

‘[I’m A Celebrity have] offered me quite substantial sums to do so. They’ve been back on the phone this year,’ he said on GB News last week .

‘Unlike previous years, I am giving it very, very serious consideration.’

The Sun has claimed that former prime minister Liz Truss, who resigned last year, and her briefly-serving chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng, are also being considered for the jungle.

Other rumoured contestants include This Morning star Josie Gibson and Love Island star Olivia Attwood, who competed last year but had to head home early.

Olivia, 32, was forced to withdraw after a routine blood test showed she had low sodium and potassium levels, while also flagging anaemia.

There has also been speculation that Made In Chelsea star Sam Thompson could also be a campmate, after his partner Zara McDermott competed in the latest Strictly Come Dancing series.
