{"id":69392,"date":"2023-11-25T05:11:18","date_gmt":"2023-11-25T05:11:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/celeband.com\/?p=69392"},"modified":"2023-11-25T05:11:18","modified_gmt":"2023-11-25T05:11:18","slug":"judy-finnigan-lifts-lid-on-reason-she-refuses-to-come-back-on-this-morning","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/celeband.com\/celebrities\/judy-finnigan-lifts-lid-on-reason-she-refuses-to-come-back-on-this-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"Judy Finnigan lifts lid on reason she refuses to come back on This Morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/79\/590x\/secondary\/This-Morning-5076460.jpg?r=1700522960379\"><\/p>\n<p>Former This Morning host Judy Finnigan has revealed the reason she won\u2019t return to the ITV show, despite becoming one of its most iconic presenters alongside husband Richard Madeley.<\/p>\n<p><span>The famous dup presented the chat show from its inception in 1998 to 2001, before hosting their own show entitled Richard and Judy for a further eight years.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Speaking in <\/span><span>Saga Magazine<\/span><span>\u2019s December issue, Judy didn\u2019t hold back as she criticised certain changes to the show\u2019s format. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Addressing whether the would ever come back to appear on the show, she confirmed: \u201cFor 13 years Richard and I hosted This Morning but I will no longer watch it, and won\u2019t appear on there to talk about my book. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>On November 9, Judy released her latest book, Roseland, which the Sunday Express has described as \u201ca moving meditation of grief, family bonds, motherhood and female friendship\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p> <strong> READ MORE: <\/strong> <strong>This Morning bosses eyeing up husband and wife as the &#8216;next Holly and Phil&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.images.express.co.uk\/img\/dynamic\/79\/590x\/secondary\/This-Morning-5076466.jpg?r=1700522960430\"><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThis isn\u2019t a protest,\u201d Judy continued. \u201cIt\u2019s just a very different show than it was when we were doing it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe\u2019d interview people about books and you felt like there was some real interest there.
