ASHLEY Cain has hit back at cruel trolls in a furious rant after his ex Safiyaa Vorajee shared shocking details of their split.<\/p>\n

Safiyya broke her silence in an interview with The Sun after\u00a0learning Ashley was expecting a baby with another woman.<\/p>\n


\n<\/p>\n

And she told of her heartache as she revealed he had asked her to have another baby, following their split and the death of their little girl\u00a0Azaylia from\u00a0leukaemia\u00a0in 2021.<\/p>\n

The star said she had believed they would one day get back together.<\/p>\n

Following her bombshell revelations Ashley, 33, said "recollections may vary" and that he was committed to continuing to work with Safiyya to lead\u00a0The Azaylia Foundation.<\/p>\n

Last night he took to Instagram again after coming under fire from nasty trolls and being bombarded with negative messages.<\/p>\n

The Real Full Monty star said: "Just because I don't speak, doesn't mean I can't speak, just means I choose not to.<\/p>\n

"No matter how many stones get thrown, or how hard they hurt, I will always stand on that."<\/p>\n

Ashley also shared a message from a fan who defended him and slammed the abuse he had faced.<\/p>\n

The message read: "All these judgemental, horrible, got nothing better to do except put down a grieving father because he has moved on need to get a frigging life.. just because you don't see him crying or being sad does not mean he is okay. <\/p>\n

"He has lost a child to.. the comments on his post are disgusting and you should be ashamed of yourself for judging a man that takes all his strength just to be alive. <\/p>\n

In June, Safiyya moved out of Ashley\u2019s aunt\u2019s house and bought her own home, believing the space would help following their split. <\/p>\n

He later told her that he was due to be a dad again and the woman was pregnant with a baby boy, though he wasn\u2019t in a relationship with her.<\/p>\n

Breaking down in tears, Safiyaa told The Sun: \u201cThat\u2019s the heartbreaking thing about it. <\/p>\n

"Even when he told me, I put him first so he didn\u2019t feel guilty for telling me. Inside I was screaming and crying.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also had to keep her dignity when the news broke online, with footage of Ashley talking about his new child. <\/p>\n

Safiyya said: \u201cI was preparing to present an award, sitting on a table with Little Mix singer Leigh-Anne Pinnock and sprinter Linford Christie.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomebody said there was footage of him online. I had no idea that was going to happen that day. I messaged him saying, \u2018I\u2019m just about to present an award. Like, seriously?\u2019 He didn\u2019t respond.\u201d<\/p>\n

Their baby daughter Azaylia was just eight weeks old when she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukaemia and tumours on her lungs, stomach and kidneys.<\/p>\n

Former Coventry City winger Ashley and Safiyya, founders of The Azaylia Foundation, raised more than \u00a31.5million to fund her specialist treatment.<\/p>\n

She was given several rounds of chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant at Birmingham Children\u2019s Hospital but died at eight months.<\/p>\n

In an exclusive interview with The Sun on Sunday, he broke down in tears as he spoke of visiting his daughter\u2019s grave\u00a0to tell her that she was going to be a big sister.<\/p>\n

Ashley said: \u201cThe first thing that I did was go down to Azaylia\u2019s resting place to talk to her about it.<\/p>\n

\u201cI believe that was a huge part that has allowed me to feel positive about it. <\/p>\n

"I feel like she was the main person that I needed to speak to and to get this thing off my chest.<\/p>\n

"After going to her resting place and speaking to her about it, I just had a feeling in my heart and in my soul that she was happy for me.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe was happy that she had a little brother and it is now just someone else for her to watch over and protect in this world."<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

In the interview he said Safiyya had congratulated him on his baby news.<\/p>\n

He also told The Sun on Sunday of his joy at being a dad again.<\/p>\n

Sobbing and wiping away tears, Safiyya admitted: \u201cHow can I congratulate him when I\u2019m in so much pain? <\/p>\n

"Knowing my child has a sibling that isn\u2019t related to me has shattered my dreams of a future with a full sibling, of that family.<\/p>\n
