Love Islands Chloe Burrows chops off her extra-long hair for a Posh Spice-inspired bob
Something we're not taking with us into the new season is long hair. The bob and short haircut revolution is well underway with plenty of celebrities ditching their previously long hair for shorter, cooler cuts.
We've just seen Vogue Williams showing off her new bob at the NTAs, and Louise Redknapp recently chopped her mid-length hair into a shaggy bob. Now, we're also seeing Chloe Burrows with an on-trend shorter 'do.
"It’s BOBby bitch. Shout out @hadleyyatessalon, still using @secretofmedusauk extensions," she captions the reveal post on her Instagram grid.
The look is quite the change from the one she favoured in the Love Island villa back in 2021 when she was a contestant on the seventh ITV2 show series. Gone are her waist-length blonde waves and in their place are freshly-chopped ends that sit just above her shoulders. We love how her new hair has been styled so that the ends flick under in a modern Posh Spice way. Victoria Beckham would be honoured, we're sure.
"It’s giving CLASSS," fellow Love Islander Samie Elishi comments under the snap.
"ObSESSED!!! That’s not a bob it’s a Robert!" jokes another pal, to which Chloe responds: "My favourite comment".
"Legit just thought this was Kim Kardashian," says a follower.
We didn't think we'd see Chloe with short hair again after she took to TikTok last year to give a brief glance at what her natural hair looks like without the long extensions. In the short video, Chloe hilariously compared herself to a very well-known male singer who sports spiky, long-ish hair.
“First one CAN’T be me with that Rod Stewart hair,” she wrote in the video caption.
“Me without extensions,” she goes on to say in the video, which shows the star in a fluffy grey dressing gown. “Me with my lovely extensions!” she captioned the second half of the video, returning to the camera with fresh hair and an “out out” outfit.
The video comments were just as funny, with one user saying at the time: "Are we going to talk about how you said ROD Stewart hair,” while another wrote: “The first hair is giving EastEnders for some reason.”
We can definitely confirm that Chloe's new bob absolutely does not give Rod Stewart of EastEnders this time!
