Princess Beatrices dilemma over blended family Christmas with royals at Sandringham
Princess Beatrice is set to join the Royal Family at Sandringham this Christmas along with the rest of the Yorks but there is one problem – how best to blend her family.
Sources have told OK! that the princess, her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and their daughter Sienna could be joined by two outsiders this festive season in the guise of Edo’s ex Dara Huang and their son Christopher, nicknamed Wolfie.
“Beatrice is very keen to have her entire family at Sandringham this Christmas and that includes Wolfie,” the source said. “Beatrice wants him there, but she also realises that Dara should be there as well.”
The seven-year-old joined the Royal Family for the first time last year when he was spotted holding hands with Beatrice and Edo at the Christmas Day morning church service at St Mary Magdalene Church on the Sandringham estate.
“Wolfie joined them [Beatrice and Edo] last year, so it is technically Dara’s turn this year,” the source said. “But it’s still to be decided whether Dara will join them or not in order to keep everyone together.”
The source added that the Yorks have been handed the keys to Wood Farm on the estate for the exclusive use of their family this year.
“It might be a bit awkward if Dara comes along and stays with them on the farm but doesn’t get invited for dinner at Sandringham,” the source said. “The dinner will be served in the ballroom this year due to the sheer number of people attending.
“Extended family members are one thing, but complete outsiders are another. But Beatrice is determined to make it happen.”
OK! has contacted Beatrice's representatives for comment.

Meanwhile, despite Prince Harry and Meghan Markle not yet being confirmed on the Sandringham guest list, Queen Camilla has reportedly invited her children and grandchildren for the first time.
Camilla has two children and five grandchildren of her own. Her son Tom Parker Bowles has one daughter Lola, 16, and a son, Freddy, 13, while her daughter Laura Lopes has a daughter Eliza, 15, and twins Gus and Louis, 13.
“Camilla was very keen to have her family join the royals this year and the King thought it was a great idea,” the source said. "Charles has really opened out the invitations and wants a nice fun family holiday with even extended members of the family on the guest list."
The source concluded that although members of the Royal Family will congregate on the Sandringham estate to celebrate Christmas, not all of them will be staying there.
“William and Kate and the children will be heading back to Anmer Hall afterwards,” the source said. “It’s very close so they won’t be needing accommodation on the estate.”
