Stacey Solomon shares adorable day out as son Rex feels like one of the lads

Stacey Solomon has shared some adorable snaps of her family day of fun at Winter Wonderland.

The Loose Women panellist, 34, and her husband, ex-EastEnders actor Joe Swash, 41, took their elder children and one of their nephews to the festive fairground in London, with Stacey sharing the trip to her Instagram Story.

In a snap showing Joe, and son Rex, four, Stacey added text, which read: "A little Sunday adventure with the boys…."

She followed this with a video clip showing what they got up to at the event, to which she added: "We dropped the girls at Auntie Casey's & took the big boys & our nephew to Winter Wonderland.

"The girls are too little for most of the rides & it's outside so super cold for them. But the big boys LOVE coming here.

"It was so lovely to do something Christmassy for the older boys & Rexy felt like one of the Lads."

It come after Stacey showed off her festive decorations, unveiling her rather lavishly decorated front door, all of which she had DIY-ed.

Sharing a video of the decorated door to Instagram, she penned the caption: "[rose emoji] The Nutcracker Christmas Door 2023 [rose emoji] done [tick emoji].

"Neil and Norman (I made Neil a nutcracker friend) Pride of place guarding pickle cottage. The bells I think bring a lovely flash of gold but I’ll be honest your initial reviews were probably right.

"All I know is it’s taken me weeks to achieve but I’m so proud of our Christmas door 2023 handmade by me. Happy Sunday Everyone… Christmas is coming."

Ahead of the door reveal, Stacey had shared that she'd made a giant nutcracker out of buckets, guttering and pipe insulation.

Sharing a video clip of the impressive nutcracker: "PROUD I made a giant nutcracker it’s taller than me & Joe & almost hits the ceiling.

"I actually love him. We’ve named him Neil. He’s made out of 3 buckets, some guttering & some pipe insulation. And he was SUPER easy.

"I feel like every time I see a giant nutcracker it’s hundreds of pounds or it looks soooo complicated to make so I hope this inspires anyone who wants to make one to grab a bucket and go for it.

"I need to think of a way to weigh him down so he can go outside for the front door display this year. Any ideas welcome.

"But this got me in such a Christmassy mood & SO excited for the Christmas door."
