Antiques Roadshow star's husband dies after 21 years of marriage

Bunny Campione has announced the sad death of her husband Major Iain Grahame, whom she met in the most serendipitous way.

The 77-year-old wed Grahame in 2002 and the pair had been married for 21 years when he passed away at age 91, according to the Daily Mail.

Bunny, real name Carolyn Fisher, met her husband years before when they drove into each other on a country lane but it was years later that they met once again and fell in love.

Grahame earned the rank of Major during his time in the King’s Royal Rifle Corps, working in Uganda.

He had been married twice before Bunny to Susan d’Esterre Curteis in November 1960, then to Diana Mansfield in August 1972.

Bunny rose to fame on Antiques Roadshow, joining the popular Sunday programme in 1987 and remaining a constant figure on the show.

It’s unknown if the expert will take a break from the show following the announcement.

Two guests on the show recently got the surprise of a lifetime when they discovered a ring in their mum’s sock drawer was worth a fair bit.

‘If you were at auction, this would be in the region of £20,000,’ expert Joanna told the sisters, who had found the ring wrapped in a sock.

They believed it was purchased by their great-grandfather, as Joanna shared it was likely from around 1915.

‘It is such a stunning, stunning ring,’ Joanna added.

Antiques Roadshow airs Sundays on BBC One and iPlayer.
