Tom Brady And Gisele Bündchen Still Seeking For Divorce Lawyers
Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen may look like the picture-perfect couple, but the NFL pro and the model aren’t afraid to admit that their relationship has gone through ups and downs.
“I’m blessed to find this life partner that we all kind of seek at different times in our life,” the former New England Patriots quarterback told Access Hollywood in May 2016. “We found each other at the right time. We’ve been through a lot of ups and downs together, and in so many ways, that’s kind of built our relationship so strong.” While Brady noted the pair, who wed in 2009, have faced “challenges,” he added that they are always there for each other.
“It’s great to have that rock that you can always lean on that can support you in different ways that you need to,” he explained at the time.
Earlier this week, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen seem to be heading for the end zone: Both have retained divorce lawyers, multiple sources tell Page Six exclusively.
As previously revealed, the couple have been living separately for the past couple months following an epic fight — and they’re now apparently looking at dividing up their multimillion-dollar empire.
“I never actually thought this argument would be the end of them, but it looks like it is,” one source in the know tells Page Six.
“I don’t think there will be any coming back now. They both have lawyers and are looking at what a split will entail, who gets what and what the finances will be.”
Reps for Brady and Bündchen did not respond to requests for comment.

In an interview with Elle magazine published last month, she sounded disappointed about his decision to play.
“Obviously, I have my concerns — this is a very violent sport, and I have my children and I would like him to be more present,” Bundchen said. “I have definitely had those conversations with him over and over again. But ultimately, I feel that everybody has to make a decision that works for (them). He needs to follow his joy, too.”
Another source said Bündchen did not like how Brady handled his return to the Buccaneers.
“She was so happy when he announced his retirement, and she wasn’t thrilled at all when he went back on that,” the source said.
“They’re hitting a rough patch,” they added. “But I know they’re trying, or at least he’s trying, to figure it out and make it work. He wants to get through this and for things to get better.”
Another insider said the seven-time Super Bowl winner is “totally devoted” to his children during the offseason, and spends time with his family in between games and traveling.
“No other husband gets six months off a year to be totally devoted to just their family,” the source said. “And during the season, yes he travels for games and trains, but he’s with his family a lot too.”
Since the start of the 2022 season, Bündchen has not been seen at any of her husband’s four games. One source told PEOPLE she has been “spending time away” from Brady.
“Going back to Tampa after the retirement put a strain on the personal side of his life,” a source said. “Gisele is frustrated and sick of his career coming before their family, who has always supported him.”
The couple spending time apart from one another “has happened before,” the source explained.
Brady, 45, and Bundchen, 42, have two children — son Benjamin, 12, and daughter Vivian, 9. He has a 15-year-old son, Jack, from a previous relationship.
A divorce would involve a division of millions of dollars’ worth of assets for the couple, who married in February 2009. Page Six reported they have a property portfolio worth $26 million.
The couple also own a condo at 70 Vestry St. in Tribeca, valued at $3.6 million, as well as a $5.7 million property at developer Mike Meldman’s Yellowstone Club in Montana.
Bündchen’s favorite property is believed to be their remote home on the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica, where the family often vacations.
Ahead of Hurricane Ian, the pair both fled Tampa, where Brady is playing for the Buccaneers, and went to Miami, where they have been staying apart. Bündchen has been spotted there over the past few days.
A source told us that Bündchen has been staying in the Miami home that she and Brady rented in 2020; it’s not clear where the quarterback was holed up.
Brady landed at No. 9 on Forbes’ 2022 list of highest-paid athletes, with the publication pegging his annual salary at $83.9 million — $52 million of it in endorsements. When he retires, he has a job waiting for him as the No. 1 football analyst at FOX Sports, where he is signed to a 10-year, $375 million deal.
