Chaos as Cindy Beale's public return leads to explosive showdown in EastEnders
Cindy Beale’s (Michelle Collins) huge secret is finally out of the bag after an epic EastEnders cliffhanger saw her come face to face with daughter Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) for the first time in nine years.
And what better place for that to happen than in the Queen Vic, surrounded by faces from her past?
Oh, and did we mention the fact that most of them think she died back in 1998?
There were certainly some shocked faces as Cindy stormed into the bar, pushing past Tracy and Winston, who both knew Cindy back in the day, in order to reunite with her daughters.
With Anna still making a birthday wish with her eyes closed, it took a while for her to realise who was standing in front of her, but it soon dawned on her that her mum was back.

Sister Gina (Francesca Henry) was equally as shocked, Phil Mitchell and Sharon Watts (Steve McFadden and Letitia Dean) looked nothing short of horrified, while Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) was just plain confused.
Though the episode ended there, that is not where this night finishes, and there is still plenty more drama to come.
Having already explained to husband George (Colin Salmon) what had made her leave and why she couldn’t come back, she will soon have to have the same conversation with Anna and Gina.
However, things soon get out of hand when the girls head to Peggy’s to drown their sorrows, and George ends up facing his worst fear.
Meanwhile, Sharon and Phil have to face yet another face from the past, as Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt) is also back.
Though Phil makes it clear he wants Ian out of the picture, Sharon is desperate to put the past behind her, and plucks up the courage to talk to him.
Later, news about Cindy’s second family gets back to Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth), who is still struggling to come to terms with the fact Cindy is alive and well.
After such an eventful evening, will life in Walford ever be the same again?
