Coronation Street fans baffled as two characters ‘disappear into the abyss’ with months off screen | The Sun
CORONATION Street fans have been left baffled as two characters ‘disappear into the abyss’ with months off screen.
One of the ITV soap's recent storylines has seen Ed Bailey get into financial difficulties and considers returning to his gambling ways to get himself – and his family – out of trouble.
Meanwhile, during Wednesday's episode, Ed's son Michael was sacked from Underworld after inadvertently allowing Stephen Reid to empty the company bank account.
A distraught Michael then confided in his dad that he felt like he was failing as a father to his young daughter Glory.
But Coronation Street viewers were quick to point out that Glory hasn't been seen for months, neither has Aggie, Ed's wife and Michael's mother.
Aggie is a nurse, and while she has been mentioned on occasion recently, she hasn't appeared in a scene for a number of weeks.

Following Michael's dramatic outburst, one viewer asked: "where are Glory and Aggie?"
A second tweeted: "Where is Glory, we haven't seen her for months?? When Michael was sitting on the bench taking to Ed, who was looking after her??
"Also, where is Aggie? Both seem to have gone into the abyss!!"
A fellow Corrie fan replied: "Indeed. Apparently she’s 2 now. Michael said he wants to be a good dad but he’s never with her. As for Aggie, has Ed gambled her away?"
