Coronation Street’s Faye Brookes reveals three names she’ll use after getting married | The Sun
CORONATION Street star Faye Brookes has revealed her brand new name after tying the knot to husband Iwan Lewis last week.
The actress – who is best known for playing Kate Connor on the ITV soap from 2015 to 2019 – said she was keen to rebrand herself now she's a married woman.
Faye said she will be dropping her maiden name in favour of her hubby's surname and will be using her middle name Alicia going forward.
“I’m changing my name and I’m no longer going to be known as Faye Brookes,” she explained.
"Not a lot of people in the industry do this, but I’m so proud and so excited to see what could come of that idea of introducing myself to the world as Faye Alicia Lewis – which is now my full name."
She added to OK! magazine: "Everyone there that I’ve worked with is like, ‘What are you doing next?’

The couple were married at a 13th-century church in Gloucestershire, near where they live.

The Sun's exclusive pictures of Faye's wedding saw her wearing a jaw-dropping corset-style wedding dress with an A-line skirt.
She paired the off-the-shoulder gown with a veil, which trailed along the floor.
Faye first met theatre boss Iwan in the West End stage version of Legally Blonde in 2012.
They eventually got together at the end of last year following her split with her personal trainer boyfriend of three-years Joe Davis in July.
They were keen to get hitched as soon as possible, with Faye secretly planning her big day behind the scenes at Strictly Ballroom.
An insider told us she finished her stint on the show last month and it’s been all stations go to pull off her dream wedding.
Faye was also previously engaged to Pop Idol star Gareth Gates but they split in 2019 having dated on and off for seven years.
