Emmerdale fans in stitches as Craig Reeds killer is finally revealed

Emmerdale fans were left in stitches after Thursday evening's episode, 2 November, after it was revealed a horse killed rapist Craig Reed.

Earlier in the week, viewers saw Craig lying dead in a field outside the village, as a dramatic montage started to play out that showed the killer could be any number of the Dingle family.

It was later revealed that Sam Dingle beat the rapist half to death, leading Sam to think that he was the reason Craig had died. He even confessed to the rest of the Dingle family who were trying to come up with the best alibi to keep him out of prison.

However, in a strange turn of events, it was revealed that Sam didn't finish Craig off, in fact, none of the Dingle family actually killed Craig.

The killer turned out to be Kim Tate's horse, after Kim came across Craig in the field, as he was screaming out for help. Kim refused to help Craig, as she knew all too well what he had done to her friend Lydia Dingle.

Desperate to get to the hospital, Craig pulled on the horse's rains, scaring the animal which led to Craig being hit with force over his head by the horse's hoof.

With a sudden thud to the ground, it was suggested that he didn't survive the impact to the head. Kim then tried to call an ambulance but was stopped by Caleb Milligan, who told Kim to walk away as he knew Sam would be blamed for his death.

After a small discussion, Kim went back to the stables and let her horse run free, hoping that they would be reunited soon.

Fans rushed over to X, formally known as Twitter, to express their thoughts on the killer being revealed, with many finding it hilarious that a horse was the one who finished Craig off.

One fan said: "Sooo technically no one actually killed Craig, it was the horse [laughing emoji] good horsey x # Emmerdale", while another added: "Oooh not Samson. Love that it was the horse [laughing face]".

A third penned: "THE HORSE KILLED HIM NAH IM CRYING LAUGHING", while a fourth added: "I honestly would never have guessed the killer was a horseโ€ฆ[laughing face]"

"Haha knew it was the horse", another added.
