Nigel Farage has shared an unearthed video clip on social media where I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are seen apparently endorsing his stint on the ITV show.
“Give the people what they want!” The Geordie duo say in the clip about Farage.
Farage captioned the video with a side-eye emoji and tagged Ant and Dec as a petition for him to be cut from the show before it begins grows.
Within the video, Dec reads a suggestion: “Dan says Nigel Farage.”
Ant then responds: “Dan, that is a very, very good idea. Very good idea,” while Dec adds: “I’d like to see that.”

Campaigners have been calling for viewers to boycott the series, with more than 1,000 sending complaints to Ant and Dec.
Responding to the backlash, ITV said in a statement: “I’m A Celebrity has always featured a diverse cast from all areas of public life and has a history of featuring political figures throughout its 20 years on screen.
“As with any campmate, viewers are invited to form their own opinions when the show begins on Sunday.”
Farage landed in Australia in recent days ahead of the ITV series returning to screens this weekend.

Ahead of his jungle entrance, Farage said: “I love debating every single topic.
“From the Archbishop of Canterbury to why we didn’t win the Rugby World Cup to who is going to win the Premier League, I love debating.
“There is going to be loads of it on every subject under the sun. Brexit, the banks? It’s other people who raise this stuff. I would be very surprised if they (fellow celebrities) didn’t raise it.”
He added: “I am hoping to have some good times, a good laugh and I am sure I won’t get on with everybody, but I just think it’s going to be an incredible experience doing I’m A Celebrity.

“I will give as good as I get! I hopefully can cheer people up when they are feeling down and muck in, too. But I do snore a bit!”
Nigel will be joined in the camp by stars including Jamie-Lynn Spears, Nick Pickard, Danielle Harold, Sam Thompson, Josie Gibson and Fred Sirieix.
The show will once again be hosted by Ant and Dec who also touched down in Australia recently and have seen pictured together also the picturesque beaches the Gold Coast has to offer.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! launches on Sunday on ITV at 9pm.
