Strict I'm A Celeb rule that means Josie Gibson's son Reggie, 5, will 'miss out on jungle reunion' | The Sun

STRICT I'm A Celeb rule means that Josie Gibson's son Reggie, 5, will 'miss out on the jungle reunion'.

The contestants will be visited by their loved ones during tonight's episode.

Due to his age, Reggie is restricted from crossing the bridge as per health and safety regulations.

A show source said: "Getting the loved ones into camp as a surprise always makes for great footage.

"The letters from home are emotional but seeing them reunited is even better.

"It is a real shame Reggie is not allowed into camp but hopefully for Josie her friend Mia can reassure her what a great time Reggie is having in Australia if he is not allowed in.

"It should make for some great footage on Friday's show."

Josie recently broke down into tears in the jungle over missing her son Reggie.

Former EastEnders star Danielle Harold checked on the star and asked her what was wrong.

A tearful Josie replied: “I just miss my little boy. I shouldn’t have ever left him this long.”

Comforting the former Big Brother winner, Danielle told her: “100% you should, you’re showing him that you’re a strong mum, strong woman. So proud of you babe.”

Josie's pal Mia has brought Reggie to Australia so they can be reunited as soon as she's out.

Some viewers have insisted that ITV have already decided that they want the This Morning star to win the show.

Taking to social media, one wrote: "How has Josie [Gibson] still not gone? How does she have such a big following? Or is it work for ITV so will win an ITV show?"

Another added: "Josie has been in the bush telegraph 7 times tonight. Are ITV promoting their stars?"

The finale that's set to air this Sunday will have only one campmate claiming victory.

It will run for an impressive 100 minutes, kicking off at 9pm and concluding at 10.40pm.
