Strictly It Takes Two star lands major new role away from BBC spin off show | The Sun

A STAR from behind-the-scenes show Strictly: It Takes Two has landed a major new role, and fans will be excited to see her back on screen.

Fleur East, who competed on Strictly Come Dancing herself in 2022, is known for co-hosting the spin off show It Takes Two with Janette Manrara.

The stunning host won over the hearts of fans while giving them a backstage peek into the lives of the dancers on the programme.

Now she will be ditching the stage for a classroom as the 35-year-old joins the cast on BBC drama Phoenix Rise in the role of an inspirational music teacher.

The first two seasons of the show followed the lives of a group of six teens who were previously excluded from school as they try to get back into education.

Miss Meesha will be there in seasons three and four to support the students as they try to navigate the difficulties of secondary school without landing themselves in trouble again.
