Since then, the actor has continued to star in huge blockbuster films and even has his own game show, Tenable.
Who is Warwick Davis?
Warwick Davis is an English actor, television presenter, writer, director, producer and comedian.
He was born in Epsom, Surrey on February 3, 1970, with Spondyloepiphyseal dysplasia congenita, an extremely rare genetic form of dwarfism.
He has previously said that the only drawbacks to his dwarfism is the associated health problems.
Davis' wife, Samantha, has achondroplasia and their two children also have the same form of dwarfism as he does.

In 1987, Davis was called to Elstree Studios to discuss a new film called Willow, which was written with him specifically in mind.
Davis then played the role of Professor Filius Flitwick in the Harry Potter films.
He played a white-moustached Flitwick in the first two films, and then a black-haired unnamed chorus conductor for the third instalment of the series.
In the fourth film, Flitwick is younger looking, with short, brown hair and a trimmed moustache.
In addition to playing Flitwick, Davis played the role of the goblin Griphook in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, despite the role being played previously by fellow dwarf actor Verne Troyer.
Davis other big films include The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, and Labyrinth.
In 2015, Davis starred in the Star Wars sequel, The Force Awakens.
What is his success outside of film?
Davis has made a number of appearances in TV and in the theatre.
In the early 1990s he starred in a BBC TV adaption of the Chronicles of Narnia.
In 2006, Davis appeared, alongside fellow Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, in an episode of BBC's comedy series Extras as a satirical version of himself.
He has also had roles in Snow White and the Seven Dwarves theatre adaption, and appeared as Patsy for one month in the musical comedy Spamalot, based on the film Monty Python and the Holy Grail in London.
In 1995, he co-founded talent agency, Willow Management, with his father-in-law Peter Burroughs.
The agency specialises in representing actors under five feet.
Over forty members of Willow Management were cast as goblins in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
In 2010, Davis published his autobiography, Size Matters Not: The Extraordinary Life and Career of Warwick Davis.
Since 2016, the talented star has hosted the day time quiz show, Tenable.
