The Invictus Games hold a special place in her heart because it’s Prince Harry’s passion project. When the dynamic duo’s relationship was revealed in 2017, the event in Toronto, Canada was their first public outing together. Meghan seemed to be ecstatic to be back again this year with the speech she made on Tuesday. “I am thrilled that the first event I can do for Invictus is here with all of you,” she said. “It is amazing, and I hear that it’s so far been off to a good start, is that right?” Of course, the audience cheered loudly in approval. 

Meghan will likely be making more fashion statements in the coming days as she enters a new chapter in her career. The rebrand that royal fans have been anticipating is just weeks (or days) from launching and everyone is waiting to see what the next stage holds for her. It’s an exciting time for Meghan and Harry because their happy ending doesn’t involve a palace and a crown, but it’s their own rewritten fairy tale.
